Massage Therapy

Laura is an up-beat, lively therapist with a love of puzzle-solving and a passion for helping people. They have been a working clinician for over seven years and has experience treating a wide and diverse patient population in that time. Being an ex-athlete and chronic pain patient themself, Laura brings compassion and understanding to their care and treatments.

 

Laura completed their Bachelor of Applied Health Science In Athletic Therapy and became a Certified Athletic Therapist in 2017. They have since gone on to earn their Massage Therapist designation and furthered their education in Fascial Stretch Therapy and Craniosacral Therapy. This allows for a personalized treatment based on their patients' own concerns and goals.

 

Every appointment with Laura includes a comprehensive orthopedic assessment, hands-on soft tissue treatment, patient education and home care. There are a variety of reasons why someone may choose to book an appointment, including:

• Rehabilitation for acute strains and sprains

• Chronic or recurrent pain or injuries

• Headaches, migraines, TMJ dysfunction

• Rehabilitation for conditions such as plantar fasciitis, patella-femoral pain syndrome, carpal tunnel, post-operative care, and more

• Returning to exercise or fitness after a period of inactivity

• Interest in and seeking guidance for beginning a fitness journey

• General tension or tightness, general relaxation.
